Conan was such a big part of my life growing up, a tremendous role model, and although I have never met him, everything he has does done for my and others entertainment means a whole lot to me. I know he isn’t gone forever, but there is definitely going to be a large void in late night television and it’ll take a man with tremendously big shoes to fill that position.
Great little tune and the theme song for “Men of a Certain Age” which I just recently started watching. The show is good, a little slow at times and the bits can be corny, but an all around good show with good characters and lots of awkward moments.
I’m in a video store when I stumble upon a box set of creepy movies called “Fear the Facts”. Its in a pretty thick case so I’m like, that’s a lot of DVDs. I take it back to watch it and discover its 4 homemade films on crappy VHS tapes. Rip off…or was it. I pop in the first movie which is called Mutant Honeymoon (printed on the side of the tape in pencil) and I see two people attempting to create a sex tape on their honeymoon. The weird thing is, when they hit record, it doesn’t film them, it shows a bunch of weird shit in the LCD screen. They saw bloody bats, creeps, and a pixelated version of the main character from the movie.
In the dream, when I tried to explain the weird box set to Christian and Mike, who in real life might love something like this, they told me to go fuck myself.
