I enjoyed a double creature feature the other day which included Attack the Block and Insidious. The films were excellent, both in film making and acting. I really loved the simplicity of Attack the Blocks aliens. An unmeasurable black with neon teeth, it was original and horrifying to look at. Of the two though, Insidious was my favorite. It scared me to just go back into for that screen shot. The film was the anti-paranormal activity. The characters were smart, but when they did have their doubts about what was going on, they did what normal people would do, they MOVE!!! Even though that didn’t help their case, the story was great and the scares superb. I’ll be adding it to my movies to watch on and around halloween list.
