Jeremy Soule - The Streets of Whiterun
Imagine if you will for a moment that you’re riding through a vast and seemingly endless plane. In the distance you can see snow covered mountains, lush evergreens, and a herd of wooly mammoths slowly marching towards water. You feel a shadow fly over head and hear the ear screeching cry before the ground before you becomes engulfed in flame. A Dragon. You dismount your horse and run straight for the beast, sending arrow after arrow zipping towards its heart. It lands and you turn, now face to face with this magnificent creature. In a flurry of steel on scale, fire, and ice the Dragon is dead and after absorbing its soul you ride back to Whiterun, a city in need of protection. You left a man (woman), you’ve returned a hero and this song plays.
If you play Skyrim, you know. If you don’t, you’ll never understand.
