Hey all! My short film for the Vidiocy Film Festival at the iO theater "HD" took third place the other night! The idea of the contest was to draw a suggestion from a hat and make a short in 30 days with the suggestion in mind. HD in best watched in HD, so flip that switch to 720p and I hope you enjoy.

HD features the improv talents of Brett Lyons and Andrew Newton

Music: Late Night Bikes by Capybara

All the shorts were fantastic. Chicago has some serious comedy film making power.

Jumped in Lake Michigan yesterday and became a Polar Bear. Here’s a short video of the good times.

Tranny 3 Copter.

Being car-less this weekend resulted in some couch surfing, bike riding, and heat exhaustion. Talk about a bad weekend to bike Chicago’s lake front. I did about roughly 45 miles over 3 days which isn’t so bad, besides the heat from the street.
Also thanks to Pete for having me over Saturday night. We had one of the best 3 man conversations I’ve had in awhile, with the occasional pop-in from boy scout leader Hunter Norris.
Aaaanndddd, I ate my first Malt Cup thanks to Annie. I said I was only going to eat half, and she was right, I ate that whole thing…well there was a thin layer on the bottom.
A fun filled weekend, minus working, for sure.

Biked the drive this morning. A nice little 40 miler to start the day off right followed by a pancake breakfast. Time to go to work.

There was a lot of shuffling happening this morning

And though the semi miserable weather made things gloomy, I still managed to have a good time running a race again. Papa needs a nap.
